Edelrid TECH WEB SLING 8mm

The Edelrid Tech Web Sling 8 mm is a narrow sewn loop sling for climbing and mountaineering. It combines a Dyneema core with a protective polyamide sheath. The core contributes substantially to its strength, while the more textured outer layer supports handling. It suits climbers who want to organise compact equipment on their harness and select an appropriate sling length for each intended task.

The webbing is eight millimetres wide and Edelrid specifies a breaking strength of 22 kilonewtons. Its flexible construction folds down easily. An additional covering protects the sewn connection area. This product offers selectable lengths of 40, 60 and 120 centimetres. Choose the variant for your intended setup: a longer sling provides a different working range from a short one, so length is a functional choice rather than simply a packing preference.

Use the sling only within the applications described by the manufacturer and with suitable compatible equipment. Before every use, inspect both the webbing and stitching for damage and wear. Follow the manufacturer's service-life, storage and retirement instructions. Let a wet sling dry away from direct heat and store it clean, dry and protected from chemicals. Appropriate training and the complete instructions remain essential to selection and safe use.
