Edelrid SE Ceuze 9.8mm icemint-sahara

The Edelrid SE Ceuze 9.8 mm in Icemint-Sahara is a dynamic single rope for sport climbing indoors and on rock. The versions offered here differ in length: 40, 50 or 60 metres. Choose the rope length according to the actual requirements of your climbing wall or intended route, including the length needed for safe lowering.

Its 9.8 mm diameter and Thermo Shield treatment contribute to its handling. This heat treatment harmonises the core and sheath yarns. The stated sheath proportion is 40 percent and the weight per metre is 62 grams. The 3D Lap Coiling packaging makes the initial unpacking easier; follow the directions provided on the packaging.

Before use, check that your belay device is approved for this rope type and diameter, and follow its instructions. A new rope may run more smoothly through the device than a used one. Inspect the full rope for irregularities and carry out the usual partner and system checks. A product description does not replace practical belay training.

A rope mat or rope bag helps limit contact with dirt when laying the rope out. Store it in a cool, dry place away from light, chemicals and sharp edges. Follow the Edelrid instructions for cleaning, inspection and retirement. Do not continue using the rope if it is damaged or if its condition gives rise to doubt.
