Edelrid Dyneema® Sling 8mm

The EDELRID Dyneema Sling 8 mm is a narrow, sewn webbing sling made of Dyneema fibres. It is intended for applications where a slim sling is needed, such as threading suitable natural rock threads (sandglass-shaped holes). The lengths 30, 60, 90, 120, 180 and 240 cm are available in the shop.

Selection and use

Choose the length to suit the intended use and the requirements of the equipment involved. Width, material and the stated minimum breaking strength describe the design; correct use is governed by the instructions for use. Check the sling, the seams and the marking before every use. The sling is part of personal protective equipment and requires appropriate knowledge as well as safe handling of the entire system.

Care and storage

Follow the EDELRID requirements for cleaning, drying, storage and the required inspections. Protect the material from harmful influences when storing it and keep the product information. If it is damaged or there is any doubt about its serviceable condition, the sling must not be used any further. After a special event, check the applicable retirement rules. In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up.
