The Schöffel Pants Ascona W short in Dress Blues is a full-length women's hiking trouser in short sizes. Here, short refers to the size range and reduced leg length, rather than a pair of shorts. The dark blue design is suited to walking and other active outings in warmer weather.

The fabric combines 89% polyamide with 11% elastane and provides four-way stretch. It accommodates movements such as walking, stepping up and taking longer strides. Schöffel describes it as water-repellent, quick-drying and durable. A slim fit gives the trousers a close silhouette while the stretch fabric supports movement.

An adjustable waistband allows the fit to be refined. Two front pockets, one rear pocket and one thigh pocket all have zips, giving small belongings separate storage spaces. Pre-shaped knees further complement mobility. The manufacturer's base weight is 260 g; the actual weight may vary with size.
