In the Biopod Down Hybrid Ice Extreme, the finest goose down (90/10, 800+ cuin, RDS certified) is used as insulation material. The innovative V-shaped chamber system is supported at sensitive body zones by even more heavily filled box chambers. Additionally, further side chambers ensure balanced insulation.

An additional layer of pure Norwegian wool by lavalan® is used as another insulation layer. This makes the sleeping bag unique.

The Norwegian wool by lavalan® not only provides additional insulation, but can absorb 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp. This prevents condensation on the inside of the outer shell.

The wool thus protects the down from any moisture that occurs. Because only dry and fluffy down insulates optimally!

The combination of the two insulation materials down and wool creates a dry warm climate, which is the best prerequisite for restful and good sleep.

A sleeping bag merely stores the heat that the person gives off. Often, however, a person is no longer able to warm themselves or the sleeping bag. Whether because they are exhausted or ill. In particular, the foot area is difficult to warm up with cold feet. That's why a heating element has been integrated into the Biopod Down Hybrid Ice Extreme that can be powered by a standard power bank. After about 15 minutes, the sleeping bag is cozy warm for the night. Of course, the washable heating element is easily and quickly removable.

The materials used are made from recycled, highly breathable and robust nylon. The sleeping bag can be refilled with down at one of our service partners if needed. Thus, a long lifespan is guaranteed.

Grüezi bag takes responsibility for the geese and sheep that produce the insulation materials. That's why exclusively Norwegian wool and RDS-certified down are used.

The Biopod Down Hybrid Ice Extreme models 190 and 200 are cut wide. This has the advantage that the filling compresses less and thus the insulation performance improves significantly.
