Salomon Skins MTN 86 2022/23

The Salomon Skins MTN 86 are pre-cut climbing skins designed for Salomon MTN 86 skis. They provide the climbing surface for ski touring and can be fitted without additional trimming when you select the correct length. Matching both the ski model and its length is therefore essential when choosing your pair.

The skin material combines 65% mohair with 35% synthetic fibres. This blend brings glide and durability together for repeated days in the mountains. Salomon’s Dry Base System adds a water-repellent membrane intended to reduce snow sticking to the skins during the ascent.

Check your MTN 86 ski length before ordering. When fitting the skins, ensure that they are clean, centred and correctly secured at the tip and tail. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for drying, storage and care of the adhesive surface.
