Rode P40 Ski Wax Violet 0°C, 45g - Wax

The RODE P40 Violet is a solid grip wax for classic cross-country skis. RODE describes this version for conditions around freezing within the relevant regional temperature range. It belongs to the stick range for new snow or snow at the beginning of transformation, where the crystals are still largely intact.

Preparing for the track

The stick waxes are normally spread without heat. For particular snow conditions, RODE also describes application with an iron. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the preparation guidance for your skis. The grip zone needs to suit your classic ski and its intended use.

Selection and storage

Consider snow type, moisture and changes on the track alongside temperature. Where RODE states different ranges for Central and Northern Europe, they reflect regional differences in snow characteristics. Make a short test on the actual snow to check grip and glide. Close the container after use and keep the contents clean. Follow the cleaner’s instructions when removing old wax layers.
