Pure Grip Compound results from activated silica compound and is a good example of how we continuously integrate customer feedback into our research and development. this mixing technology fits seamlessly alongside the Black Chili compound. the name pure-grip is the program. exceptional grip and durability characterize this mixture. we use pure grip in our performance and shieldwall system products in the road bike and mountain bike segments.

PolyX Breaker
with the PolyX Breaker™ we bring automotive know-how to the bicycle tire segment. polyester has been successfully used in car tires for years and has proven itself many times over. the extremely resistant polyester fibers are woven tightly in a cross pattern. this allows us to achieve a very high weave density that not only makes our breaker resistant to foreign objects, but also particularly resistant to punctures.

Plus Breaker
between the tread and carcass comes puncture protection made of highly elastic special rubber. almost impenetrable, this puncture protection successfully withstands foreign objects of all kinds. even a staple cannot penetrate it. the carcass is reliably protected from injury. tires with Plus Breaker are now found in almost every segment: whether road bike, MTB or city/trekking, the Plus Breaker guarantees maximum safety without negatively affecting the tire's driving characteristics. the consistency of the breaker was adjusted so that the tire does not feel spongy in cornering. the Plus Breaker is pure puncture protection. please note the tire pressure instructions!
