MAXXIS Rambler 700x38C

The Maxxis Rambler in 700 × 38C is a folding tyre for gravel rides, hard-packed paths and unpaved roads. This version has a black sidewall and a 120 TPI casing. Its ETRTO size is 38-622, giving you a clear size reference to compare with your wheel and frame specifications.

Closely spaced centre knobs support rolling on firm ground. More widely spaced shoulder knobs help with cornering control. The Dual rubber compound combines different characteristics across the tread and shoulders. EXO reinforces the sidewall against cuts and abrasion, although it cannot prevent every type of damage.

A tubeless setup requires a suitable wheel, compatible rim tape, valve and sealant. Check rim compatibility and tyre clearance before fitting. Follow the rotation direction and the pressure limits for both tyre and rim, using the lower permitted limit. Before riding, check pressure, seating and sidewall condition, and carefully remove embedded debris. Adjust pressure to total load, terrain and the manufacturers' recommendations.
