Maxxis 29x2.50 Aggressor Double Down Bicycle Tire
Description
Description:
The Aggressor is designed for fast, modern mountain bike trails.
Advanced tread design provides additional grip edges,
reinforced side knobs offer increased stability in fast corners.
An all-around trail tire suitable for everything
from light trails to challenging enduro stretches.
Manufacturer's notes:
Maxxis strongly advises against using ammonia-based sealant.
Ammonia provably attacks the carcass and can weaken it
by up to 30% within months depending on the amount used.
Maxxis recommends using Tire Plasma tire sealant.

Technologies:
Dual
For Dual Compound, two different rubber compounds are
combined into a tread strip.
The arrangement of the compounds is individually planned by Maxxis
according to the desired tire properties.
Double Down
Double Down tires are built like Maxxis downhill tires.
The two carcass plies, each reinforced with a butyl insert,
each have 120 (instead of 60) tpi, making the tires,
together with the aramid bead, significantly lighter.
Wide Trail (WT):
This construction optimizes the tread layout
and tire shape for today's modern wider rims.
Traditional tires are designed for narrower rims
and have too angular a shape on wider rims,
resulting in not quite optimal performance.
WT tires are optimized for a 35 mm inner rim width,
but work excellently on all rims with an inner width of 30 - 40 mm.
Tubeless ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with lower air pressure.
This gives you better traction and reduces rolling resistance.
And with no tube, puncture risk decreases.
Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for installation with sealant
prepared as other "Tubeless Ready" tires.
The bead of Maxxis TR tires is, like that of a
true UST tubeless tire, completely covered with a rubber layer.
This makes tubeless installation successful on all standard rims
on first inflation with minimal sealant.
