Löffler Men's Bike Overpants GTX Active black

The men’s Löffler Bike Overpants GTX Active is a full-length overtrouser for cycling in rain and wind. The black version, manufacturer reference 21762-990, can be worn as an extra weather-protection layer over cycling clothing. Its lightweight GORE-TEX Active fabric combines waterproof and windproof protection with breathability for active rides.

The soft three-layer material has an outer face made from 89% polyester and 11% polyamide. A polytetrafluoroethylene membrane sits between this and a polyamide inner layer. The construction protects against external moisture while allowing water vapour to pass through. How comfortable your clothing system feels also depends on temperature, effort and the layers underneath.

Pre-shaped knees accommodate the bent position used on a bicycle. The elastic waistband and adjustable leg openings help fit the trousers around your clothing. Reflective details complete the design. This model has no seat pad and is intended as an outer layer over suitable cycling shorts or tights.

Try the overtrousers on with your usual riding clothes. Bend your knees to check freedom of movement and adjust the lower legs so loose fabric stays clear of the drivetrain. Follow the sewn-in label for washing, drying and caring for the water-repellent outer surface.
