Weighing just 2,270 g, the EXPLORE 30 is an outstanding airbag backpack for mountain tours. Developed for ski tourers and splitboarders, it offers diagonal or A-frame ski attachment, a helmet holder, two ice axe holders and, of course, the ARVA REACTOR system, the most compact and powerful twin-airbag system on the market for maximum safety in the backcountry.

Comfort has been thought of too: the 3D-FIT system ensures optimal adaptation to your body shape, and the compression straps stabilise the volume on the descent. Well-designed pockets allow easy and intuitive access to your equipment. A front pocket is reserved specially for safety equipment, while a large zip provides full access to the main compartment.

New: a compartment at the bottom of the backpack, reachable without taking it off, allows quick access to skins, gloves, crampons or a water bottle. Whether on a technical tour with rope and ice axe or a picnic at the summit, the 30L volume is ideal for an active day in the mountains.

The EXPLORE 30 SWITCH airbag is compatible with our modular SWITCH system.

The SWITCH COVER can be swapped in a fraction of a second to adapt the ARVA REACTOR airbag backpack to the planned tour.

As part of our concept for sustainable production, we do everything we can to maximise the lifespan of avalanche backpacks. Changing only the cover means not having to replace the components with the greatest environmental impact: the airbag system, back and shoulder straps.

Whether you want to adapt your backpack to the demands of your tour or renew your product, there is no need to buy a complete new backpack.

With the innovation of LOW PROFILE TECHNOLOGY, we have reinvented the design of our REACTOR avalanche backpacks and optimised the position of the balloons.

The new generation of airbag backpacks with LOW PROFILE technology comes with a more compact volume, a reworked weight distribution and new possibilities such as carrying skis in an A-frame.

 

TOUR series

The TOUR series offers the best weight-to-function ratio for hiking enthusiasts.

Available in 25, 32 or 40 (+10) litres, they let you climb lightly without compromise.

The entire TOUR series is also made from recycled fabric.

 

Ski Trip series

The Ski Trip series is available in three sizes: 26, 30 and 35 litres.

It offers a sleek design and refined technology with its waterproof fabrics and zips.

Ideal for freeriding and technical mountain tours, this series promises performance, versatility and elegance.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg.
