Black Crows Oxus Black Pink 2024
Goes with it
Description
The Black Crows Oxus in Black/Pink is a fixed-length ski pole for descents and touring. Version 101988/038 combines a black shaft with pink accents. Its extended grip provides different hand positions, for example when you want to hold the pole lower down while moving through varied terrain.
The shaft is made from 7075 aluminium alloy and has an 18 mm diameter. The EVA foam grip is 28 cm long. It is complemented by a mountain-style wrist strap, a reinforced anodised aluminium top cap and a tungsten carbide tip. The flexible basket measures 90 mm in diameter.
Black Crows lists a weight of 215 g per pole at a length of 115 cm; other lengths may differ. Choose the offered length according to your height, skiing style and intended terrain, as the Oxus has no telescopic adjustment. When trying it, check that the grip and strap are comfortable to use with your ski gloves.
As general care guidance, remove snow and dirt after skiing and allow the poles to dry. Regularly inspect the shafts, straps, baskets and tips for damage. Pack them so that the tips cannot damage other equipment. Visible bending or loose parts should be assessed by a specialist before the poles are used again.
