Komperdell Descent Ti
Goes with it
Description
The Komperdell Descent Ti is a fixed-length ski pole with an extended grip area for piste skiing and outings away from prepared slopes. Its 7075-T6 aluminium shaft has an 18 mm diameter. The fixed construction suits skiers who want a selected pole length without an adjustment mechanism. Choose from the lengths currently offered in the shop's variant selector.
Equipment includes a Pistol 2K grip and a padded Comfort Padded wrist strap. Below the main grip, an extended thermo zone allows you to hold the pole lower when terrain and stance call for it. At the lower end, a movable ice-slope basket complements the tungsten-carbide tip. Manufacturer reference 1342305 identifies the fixed version. The similarly named Vario model has a different construction and adjustment lock, so these two versions should be considered separately when choosing a pole.
Select the length for your height, arm length and preferred skiing stance. Try the grip with your ski gloves and adjust the straps accordingly. Before use, inspect the shaft, grip, basket and tip for damage. Clean the poles after an outing and allow them to dry. During transport, cover or position the tips so that they cannot damage other equipment packed alongside them.
