Völkl Racetiger SL Master+ Comp 16 GW 2026/27

Pure slalom precision, even outside the gates

If you are looking for the feeling of a World Cup racer, pure precision, power and reliability in every single turn, then the new Racetiger SL MASTER will make your dreams come true!

Equipped with a World Cup ash wood core, Full Sidewalls, Tailored Carbon Tips, two layers of Full Titanal and a new geometry, it masters every facet of the short radius. One highlight is the ski's new geometry. With a reduced tip width and a new tip bend, this geometry creates a tighter turn without being fixed to a single radius.

The interplay of the geometry and the tailor-made Carbon Tip technology is responsible for making versatility and short radii no longer a contradiction. A new positioning and length of the carbon fibres in the Tailored Carbon Tip gives the ski an even more direct tip response and a faster build-up of flex and energy in the first part of the ski. This gives the skier the ability to vary the radius, as on a slalom course where gate spacings between 6-12m are possible. Perfectly rounded off by 3D Glass and our updated Marker Worldcup Interface 10mm plate, this ski will fulfil the dreams of a World Cup racer.

TECHNOLOGIES

Tip Rocker: Character: Curved upwards only in the tip area, while the middle and tail of the ski are pre-tensioned.

WorldCup Ash Woodcore: A technical highlight that has a major effect on the handling is the high-quality solid ash core that runs the entire length of the ski. This particularly elastic hardwood is used in our race skis for World Cup athletes and even in the Master models, and acts as an energy store: as the ski bends at the start of the turn, the fibres stretch, absorb the tension energy and store it. At the turn exit, this accumulated energy is then released in a controlled way, which gives the ski enormous dynamics. Thanks to the specific stretching behaviour of ash, the ski also adapts optimally to the terrain. This results in the greatest possible stability and reliability, which enable particularly smooth handling.

Tailored Carbon Tips: With the new, tailored carbon tips, the Tailored Carbon Tips, this innovative manufacturing process embroiders the individual carbon fibres onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the lines of force, which opens up completely new possibilities, particularly in the tip area. It has a decisive influence on how the ski handles. Through the fibre thickness and millimetre-precise alignment, the stiffness, the torsion and therefore the handling can be adjusted in a targeted way. In this way, the fibres channel the dynamics into the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile tip entry into the turn with less effort and build up energy quickly. This takes the tailored carbon tips to a new level of precision, direct tip response and active riding pleasure.

Full Titanal: Titanal in the ski construction makes the ski lively and dynamic. Fans of a hard, fast and aggressive style of skiing in particular benefit from the responsiveness of this construction.

Full Sidewall ABS: The specific synthetic material of the sidewall enables precise and direct power transmission.

3D.GLASS: Compared with classic fibreglass constructions, the three-dimensional, multi-folded fibreglass layers in the tip and tail area provide increased edge grip and livelier rebound behaviour in turns.

Base P-Tex 4504: Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with extremely high density. P-Tex 4504 is not only particularly wear-resistant, it also offers the best wax absorption and is extremely fast. At Völkl, this base is used exclusively on our top models and race skis. The material composition has been refined with special additives. This produces thermal and electrical conductivity that consistently achieves top values in terms of gliding and speed properties.

Marker WorldCup Plate: The interface of the pro riders: thanks to the integrated Piston Control hydraulic damper, even the smallest amount of energy is converted into speed. Of course, the interface is also compatible with the Marker Comp bindings.

Top Sheet: “Fully Structured”: From tip to tail, the “Fully Structured” bases feature a continuous, high-traction profile that optimises speed, edge grip and control. Developed for skiers who expect versatility in all conditions combined with race-inspired responsiveness.
