Völkl Peregrine 72 Master + Comp 16 Binding - 2026/27

Völkl Peregrine 72 Master + Comp 16 Binding - 2026/27

Ultra-agile high-tech all-mountain racer with outstanding versatility

With the new Peregrine 72 Master, an unbeatable combination of World Cup and all-mountain technologies joins the segment-leading line-up. From ski instructors to former racers, this model is the choice for experienced skiers looking for a ski designed for icy and hard race conditions. The Peregrine 72 Master offers the precision, dynamics and reliability of a race ski, combined with an exceptionally versatile turn radius.

For the first time, Völkl uses its 3D Radius Sidecut technology in a ski under 80 mm underfoot. The result is a ski that offers a wide range of turn shapes, which skiers can effortlessly move in and out of depending on the terrain and conditions.

As with the professional models, the Peregrine 72 Master integrates genuine World Cup technology, with a World Cup base and phenolic sidewalls, which together provide smoothness and precision. The package is rounded off by a tailored torsion wood core. The ash core, the same as in Völkl's World Cup skis, combines the different properties of solid and laminated wood in an innovative design that offers dynamic stability and reliability, resulting in additional grip and feel, especially on hard surfaces.

For additional precision, direct tip response and an improved overall experience, the ski is supported by tailored carbon fibres in the tip area.

TECHNOLOGIES
  • Tip & Tail Rocker: Rocker only in the tip and tail areas, pre-tension in the binding area
  • Tailored Torsion Woodcore: A precisely tuned mix of solid wood and laminate. The increased torsional stiffness in the tip and tail areas ensures direct turn initiation, stability at high speeds and powerful energy release, while the smoother middle section provides harmony, control and effortless transitions from carving to drift.
  • Tailored Carbon Tips: With the new, tailored carbon tips, the Tailored Carbon Tips, this innovative manufacturing process embroiders the individual carbon fibres onto a carrier material. This allows them to be positioned exactly along the lines of force, which opens up completely new possibilities, particularly in the tip area. It has a decisive influence on how the ski handles. Through the fibre thickness and millimetre-precise alignment, the stiffness, the torsion and therefore the handling can be adjusted in a targeted way. In this way, the fibres channel the dynamics into the areas of the ski where they are needed. The visibly integrated Tailored Carbon Tips are light, allow an agile tip entry into the turn with less effort and build up energy quickly. This takes the tailored carbon tips to a new level of precision, direct tip response and active riding pleasure.
  • Full Titanal: Titanal in the ski construction makes the ski lively and dynamic. Fans of a hard, fast and aggressive style of skiing in particular benefit from the responsiveness of this construction.
  • 3D Radius Sidecut: Three radii in one ski for maximum edge angle and speed.
  • Full Sidewall Phenol: The special surface structure combined with the material composition reduces icing because the snow simply slides off. This leads to a drastic reduction in weight in use, on average by up to 20 to 30%. Thanks to the lighter skis, long and steeply rising sections in particular are easier to manage.
  • 3D. Glass: Compared with classic glass constructions, the three-dimensional, multiply folded glass layers in the tip and tail areas provide improved edge grip and a more dynamic rebound in turns.
  • Carbon Band: The carbon construction enables the optimal combination of low weight, excellent durability and very sporty handling.
  • Base P-TEX 4504: Sintered, ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene base with extremely high density. P-Tex 4504 is not only particularly wear-resistant, it also offers the best wax absorption and is extremely fast. At Völkl, this base is used exclusively on our top models and race skis. The material composition has been refined with special additives. This produces thermal and electrical conductivity that consistently achieves top values in terms of gliding and speed properties.
  • Zebra Structure: The Zebra structure was developed for the highest precision on the piste and features a deep, high-resolution base pattern tailored specifically to narrower skis fitted with a binding system. This aggressive structure ensures lightning-fast, reliable turn initiation and smooth, controlled drifting for maximum carving performance.
  • Serial Finish: Straight from the factory to the piste: with the "Serial Finish", every ski is tuned perfectly for instant performance. This precisely executed surface treatment maximises gliding comfort, ensures more precise turn initiation and makes additional preparation unnecessary.
  • Marker Worldcup Plate: The Pro-Rider interface: thanks to the integrated Piston Control oil-pressure damper, even the smallest amount of energy is converted into speed. Of course, the interface is also compatible with the Race X-cell bindings.
  • Fully Structured: From tip to tail, the "Fully Structured" bases feature a continuous, high-traction profile that optimises speed, edge grip and control. Designed for skiers who expect versatility in all conditions with race-inspired responsiveness.
