Which helmet size fits?
Measure your head and compare it with the size range for this helmet model. Check the fit around your head shape when trying it on.
A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.
Check when trying on
- The helmet should fit snugly without pressure points. Follow the manufacturer’s fitting instructions.
- It should stay in place when you gently shake your head. Check the adjusted chin strap too.
- Try it with your goggles. The helmet should fit with them without pushing them down.
Measure your head circumference
- Wrap a soft tape around the widest part of your head, above your eyebrows and ears.
- Keep the tape level and close to your head without pulling tight. Read the measurement in centimetres.
- Repeat the measurement. Without a tape measure, use string and measure its length afterwards.

Description
Optimized for backcountry use, the Fornix BC offers exceptional fit and functionality, making it an obvious choice for long days in the mountains.
The Fornix BC was designed for extended adventures deep in the mountains, combining durability with comfort and flexibility in all conditions.
Integrated technologies help protect you before, during, and after an accident: A RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector helps rescue workers locate you faster if something goes wrong.
A Twiceme® NFC Medical ID allows the helmet to speak for you when you cannot: Your medical profile can be stored on a chip in the helmet, which can be read by any first responder simply by holding their device up to the helmet.
The optimized interior increases comfort on long days in the mountains: Thick, soft padding provides a cushioned feel at the contact points between the helmet and the head. The 360° fit system and the helmet shell adjustment mechanism make it even easier to find the right fit, while the redesigned ear pads and chin strap adjuster support comfort and flexibility.
You can also easily adjust the helmet's ventilation, ensuring optimal comfort in different weather conditions.
The helmet is equipped with MIPS to improve protection against rotational forces in the event of an impact, and the aramid bridges molded into the inner shell increase penetration protection.
The ventilation channels for the ski goggles are perfectly aligned with the top of POC ski goggles, allowing heat to escape and preventing fogging.
The goggle clip on the back holds your goggles firmly and securely to the helmet.
Twiceme® NFC Medical ID
The medical information stored on the Twiceme® NFC Medical ID chip can easily be read by companions and rescue workers simply by tapping it with a smartphone.
