The Scarpa Velocity Wmn in Black/Raspberry is a climbing shoe for women looking for a comfort-focused option for the gym and regular practice sessions. Its flat shape avoids a pronounced downturn. The women’s fit has a lower volume than the corresponding men’s version. Black uppers and raspberry-coloured details identify this colourway.

The upper uses soft microfibre, with a low-seam construction around the toes to reduce distracting transitions against the foot. The Wave-Strap hook-and-loop system lets you adjust the fit and quickly open the shoe between attempts. This is useful during longer training sessions when you regularly pause between routes or boulder problems.

The Vision rubber outsole is 4 mm thick and combines friction with a construction intended for regular climbing. Scarpa lists 175 g per shoe in size 38 for the women’s model. Try both shoes on and check the fit around your heels and toes. A climbing shoe should fit precisely; do not choose a size solely from your everyday footwear size.

Keep the soles free from dust and dirt before climbing and reserve the shoes for use on the wall wherever possible. Open them after training and let them air thoroughly. Gently remove loose debris and follow Scarpa’s care guidance for more thorough cleaning. Inspect the rubber edges regularly so you notice wear before it becomes more extensive.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
