The Theory is based on a study by La Sportiva's R&D department on the gripping behaviour of gorillas and the sensitivity of cats' paws, combined with an analysis of developments in new climbing routes in gyms, which are characterised by very large volumes and extremely dynamic movements.
This shoe was developed to unleash the maximum in strength and dexterity while retaining the highest sensitivity on every type of hold.
New construction with exclusive D-Tech™ technology (Dynamic Technology): the sole wraps around the sides of the shoe to make the lateral edges disappear, ensuring dynamic stepping and adaptability to the shapes of the most modern indoor holds.
The sole made from a Vibram® XS-Grip2 compound with differentiated thicknesses on the tip supports grip on edges, while the reduced-volume heel allows maximum precision when heel hooking.
The rubber toe covers 90% of the front surface of the upper to support toe hooking while retaining adaptability to different foot types.
Thanks to its high adaptability, the entire construction of the shoe makes it easier to apply pressure on the volumes of modern indoor route setting and to hold on cross-steps. The upper hook-and-loop closure allows optimum tension adjustment.
