Red Chili Pulpo blue-red

The Red Chili Pulpo in Blue-Red is a climbing shoe designed for children. Its flat shape and flexible heel insert accommodate young feet. The two shoes in a pair have different colours, which can help when explaining movements to a child who is still learning to distinguish left from right. A large octopus graphic decorates the wide fastening strap.

A single hook-and-loop strap opens the shoe widely for easier entry. The upper combines microfibre with neoprene, and the tongue is also neoprene. A hemp footbed sits under the foot. RX-3 ENDURANCE rubber provides the sole for contact with climbing footholds. There is also a space for writing a name on the heel, making the pair easier to identify in a children’s group.

Red Chili makes the Pulpo in double sizes 27/28, 29/30, 31/32, 33/34, 35/36 and 37/38. Measure both feet and use the manufacturer’s size chart. Check the fit on the child: the shoe should hold the foot without painful pressure. The flexible heel section does not replace regular size checks as feet grow.

Undo the strap when removing the shoes and clear away loose dirt before the next session. Let them air and dry fully after climbing before putting them away. Follow the manufacturer’s care guidance for more thorough cleaning. Inspect the sole, fastening and seams regularly for wear.
