Ocune Ozone

The Ocún Ozone is a climbing shoe designed for precise placement on small edges and footholds. This red version, manufacturer reference 04700, uses the strongly asymmetric Asymmetrix last with a slight downturn. It is aimed at climbers seeking direct power transfer towards the toe during sport climbing and bouldering.

The patented 3 Force System helps distribute pressure and support torsional stiffness. A 3D Fit Middle midsole supports the toes, while the Vibram rubber outsole is 4 mm thick. Rubber covering the toe area provides a contact surface for toe hooks. The upper is microfibre, and Ocún identifies this model as vegan.

Hook-and-loop closures let you adjust the fit and remove the shoes quickly between attempts. Ocún recommends the Ozone for regular-width feet and a Greek toe shape. Try both shoes on, paying particular attention to the heel and toe area. Automatically choosing a smaller size cannot replace a careful fitting.

After climbing, clean the shoes, air them and allow them to dry thoroughly. Use a damp cloth to remove dirt. Ocún advises against machine washing and dry cleaning. Keep them away from direct sunlight and heaters while drying, and avoid leaving damp shoes inside an airtight bag.
