Ocun Ozone HV

The Ocun Ozone HV in Dark Blue is a performance-oriented climbing and bouldering shoe for wider feet. HV identifies the higher-volume version: its asymmetric Asymmetrix Plus last provides a broader shape and more room around the toes than a narrow fit. It is intended for climbers looking for precision on small footholds and a construction that supports toe and heel hooks.

The patented 3-Force System supports power transfer and torsional stability. A shaped 3D Fit Middle midsole supports the toes, while tension through the construction helps direct force towards the tip. The outsole uses 4 mm Vibram XS Grip rubber. A rubber patch over the toes provides a contact surface for toe hooks, and the heel construction is designed for a close fit.

Two opposing hook-and-loop straps allow separate adjustment and make the shoes easier to remove between attempts. The upper uses microfibre synthetic leather, and Ocun identifies the construction as vegan. Individual fit remains essential: try both shoes and check that your heels and toes are held without painful pressure points.

Air the shoes after climbing and allow them to dry before storage. Regularly inspect the rubber at the toe, sole and heel so that wear is noticed early.
