La Sportiva Mythos Lady

The La Sportiva Mythos Lady is a lace-up climbing shoe for varied climbing and longer sessions on rock. This Aqua version has manufacturer reference ZFCS002B15B15. The Mythos lacing system extends around the heel and allows adjustment across much of the shoe. This helps you fine-tune the hold when your preferred fit changes between climbing and taking a break.

The upper is made from suede leather without a lining. A full-length 1.1 mm LaSpoFlex midsole completes the construction, and the outsole uses 4 mm Vibram XS Grip2 rubber. For ZFCS002, the manufacturer catalogue lists a reference weight of 235 g per shoe in size 37. The construction is intended to allow resoling, provided the upper and rand remain in a condition suitable for repair.

Check the fit carefully on both feet. The shoe should hold your foot securely; a general model description cannot establish a suitable fit for every foot shape. Adjust the laces evenly and check the tension around the heel as well. Air the shoes after climbing and dry them away from direct heat. Inspecting the sole and rand early helps you plan repairs before more extensive wear makes them difficult.
