Scarpa Mescalito GTX Women's aloe

The Scarpa Mescalito GTX Woman in Aloe is an approach shoe for women moving between walking trails, rocky approaches and via ferrata routes. Its lacing extends towards the toe, allowing you to adjust the forefoot fit more precisely. This is useful when switching from relaxed walking to placing your feet carefully on rock. The low-cut shape leaves the ankle free to move and works with familiar hiking and approach clothing.

Water-repellent suede forms the upper, with soft stretch textiles at the tongue and collar. GORE-TEX Extended Comfort combines waterproof protection with breathability. The Dynamis LB sole construction uses Vibram Megagrip rubber and Litebase technology. A climbing zone at the front supports deliberate foot placement, while the protective rand and reinforced toe add protection around exposed areas of the upper. An EVA midsole provides cushioning for walking sections.

Try the shoes with the socks you plan to use outdoors, checking for secure heel hold and enough toe room when descending. Brush off loose dirt after use and allow the shoes to dry at room temperature. Choose care products suitable for suede and membrane footwear. A grippy outsole supports your movement, but route choice still needs to account for wet surfaces, terrain and your experience.
