Scarpa Drago

The SCARPA Drago in Yellow is a soft climbing shoe for bouldering and demanding sport climbing. The version offered here belongs to reference 70017/0018. Its highly asymmetric, strongly downturned shape is aimed particularly at movement requiring a close-fitting shoe and sensitive contact with footholds. A single hook-and-loop closure makes opening the shoe between attempts straightforward.

Drago construction combines a supple upper with the PCB-Tension system. Extensive rubber coverage over the toes supports toe hooks and contact on larger holds. The outsole uses Vibram XS Grip 2 rubber. These features alone do not determine whether the shoe fits your foot shape or whether a particular move succeeds. The offered sizes are individually selectable in the shop; sizes from other models should not be transferred without trying them.

Try both shoes on and assess toe position, heel hold and pressure over the foot. A precise fit should not be forced by choosing an excessively small size. Keep the sole and toe rubber as free from dust as practical before climbing. After use, leave the shoes open to dry with good ventilation, away from strong heat sources. Follow SCARPA’s care instructions and inspect the transition from sole to rand rubber for wear in good time.

In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
