Scarpa Rush Mid Kid GTX black ottanio

The Scarpa Rush Mid Kid GTX is a mid-cut hiking boot for children. This Black Ottanio version combines black panels with turquoise details. A synthetic upper, lace fastening and GORE-TEX lining are designed for walks and outdoor outings. The raised collar surrounds the ankle area, while reinforced sections around the toes and heel complete the construction.

Version and details

• Rush Mid Kid GTX mid-cut children’s hiking boot.
• Black Ottanio colourway.
• Synthetic upper with GORE-TEX lining.
• Laces for adjustment around the foot.
• Toe protection, reinforced heel and a pull-on loop.

Selection and use

Try both boots with suitable hiking socks. Check heel hold and toe space, including a careful downhill step on a fitting ramp if available. Tighten the laces evenly without creating pressure points. Children’s feet grow, so reassess the fit regularly. Length alone is not enough for selection; foot width and instep volume matter as well, especially when choosing footwear for longer walks.

Care and inspection

Brush away loose dirt after a walk and follow Scarpa’s care instructions for the upper and membrane. Dry at room temperature. Check the outsole tread, laces and seams for wear before the next outing, avoiding direct heat during drying.
