Wild Country Xenon HMS Trilock - blue/yellow

The Wild Country Xenon HMS Tri-Lock Belay in Blue/Yellow is a pear-shaped locking carabiner with an automatic Tri-Lock closure. This Belay version includes an internal wire keeper. It helps maintain the intended orientation during belaying and limits unwanted rotation, distinguishing this model from the version without the keeper.

The broad HMS shape provides room for rope management and handling knots. A hook-free Keylock nose makes clipping and unclipping easier, while the I-beam structure reduces material in selected areas of the body. The gate opening is 21 mm and the manufacturer’s stated weight is 77 g.

The strength ratings are 24 kN along the major axis with the gate closed, 7 kN across the minor axis and 7 kN with the gate open. These refer to different test conditions and are not interchangeable operating limits. Use the carabiner only as described in Wild Country’s instructions and the instructions for your belay device. Check the locking function, orientation and condition before every use. The automatic closure and wire keeper do not replace these checks.
