Petzl SPIRIT curved snap hook

Lightweight and versatile carabiner for sport climbing

The SPIRIT carabiner is ideal for sport climbing and for checking out climbing routes. The design of the gates - straight or curved - ensures optimal handling. The Keylock system prevents the carabiner from snagging when clipping and unclipping. The standard size does not affect its lightness. On the contrary: its excellent balance between weight savings and performance allows for use in diverse terrain such as rock, multi-pitch routes, and high mountains.

Performance overview

Easy clipping and unclipping:

• The Keylock system prevents the carabiner from snagging on the webbing, anchor point, or rope.
• The grip areas of the straight gate facilitate clipping and unclipping and provide excellent grip.
• The curved gate design enables efficient clipping.
• The flat carabiner back provides excellent stability in the hand and when clipping (scissors clipping).

Excellent balance between weight savings and performance: lightweight and compact carabiner in standard size (only 37 g)

Versatile applications:

• Easy handling and clipping during rock climbing
• Lightweight design for multi-pitch routes and mountaineering
• Easy handling, even with gloves during mountaineering

Available in two versions: with straight gate (in gray) and with curved gate (in gray, purple, green, red, yellow, or blue)
