Screwgate carabiner with an integrated roller

The DMM Revolver Screwgate A272 combines an aluminium carabiner with a small integrated roller. The wheel assists rope travel and can reduce friction in an appropriate rope configuration. This version has a manual screwgate and a titanium-coloured body with a yellow roller and locking sleeve.

Weighing 63 g and measuring 60 × 109 mm, the Revolver is a compact component for a properly planned equipment system. Its gate opening is 16 mm. The stated strengths refer to different loading directions and gate conditions; they are not working load limits.

Before each use, inspect the body, roller and gate for condition and correct operation. Selecting and incorporating the connector into a rope system requires suitable knowledge and compliance with DMM's user instructions. The manufacturer excludes use on zip wires, Tyrolean traverses and for top roping. Follow its cleaning and storage guidance, and stop using the connector if you have doubts about its safety.
