e*thirteen TRS Plus Cassette, 9-50 pcs., 12-fold, black

The e*thirteen TRS Plus 9–50 is a two-piece, 12-speed mountain bike cassette. Its smallest sprocket has nine teeth and its largest has 50, providing a gear range of approximately 556%. Starting with a nine-tooth sprocket allows a wide spread of gears while using a comparatively small chainring.

Ten steel sprockets and two aluminium sprockets combine durable contact surfaces with a weight-conscious construction. The two clusters can be replaced separately when appropriate. e*thirteen states a weight of 393 g for the 9–50 version. Its progression is 9–11–13–15–17–20–23–27–31–36–42–50 teeth.

The cassette is intended for a suitable XD freehub body. The manufacturer lists SRAM Eagle Mechanical and Shimano XTR, XT and SLX 12-speed drivetrains as compatible. Check the specific derailleur, chain and freehub before purchase. Certain hubs, including some Hope XD versions, require additional fitting parts according to e*thirteen.

Follow the e*thirteen installation instructions and check shifting, chain length and secure mounting afterwards. An XDR installation requires its intended spacer arrangement to be checked separately. Clean away accumulated dirt regularly and inspect both chain and sprockets for wear to help the drivetrain work reliably.
