CONTEC Variosattelstütze Drop-A-Gogo II

As a passionate mountain biker and cycling enthusiast, you know that the right equipment makes the difference between a good ride and an unforgettable one. Motivated by the success of the first generation of the Drop-A-Gogo dropper seatpost, Contec has listened carefully to feedback from bikers like you and now proudly presents the "Drop-A-Gogo II".

The new development brings numerous improvements, such as greater stiffness for even better control and an extended adjustment range of up to 230 mm.

Of course, you don't have to do without the familiar features of the popular Drop-A-Gogo: the Drop-A-Gogo II can still be infinitely adjusted in height using a mechanical lever. And in a matter of seconds, even while riding. Two mechanical adjustment levers are included: one in a horizontal design and one in a vertical design. The latter is compatible with the CONTEC G-Link System.

Good to know:

• Compatibility with the CONTEC G-Link System: accessories and grips fitted with the G-Link interface can be connected directly to one another. In this case, the lever of the Drop-A-Gogo II moves closer to your hand, which provides improved ergonomics and a tidier look.
• Strong materials: the "Drop-A-Gogo II" is characterised by robustness and reliability. So you can be sure that it withstands even the toughest demands, whether on a "regular" bike or an e-bike.
• Individually adjustable travel: the reducer adapters included allow you to adjust the travel of your seatpost individually by 5, 10 or 20 mm. This lets you tune the "Drop-A-Gogo II" even better to your needs.

Material & maintenance:

The dropper seatpost is made from lightweight and sturdy 7075 aluminium. Overall, the Drop-A-Gogo II weighs just 540 g (at Ø 30.9 mm / 150 mm travel) and thus offers an impressive balance of strength and lightness.

The internal cable routing ensures smooth operation regardless of the weather and gives your bike a tidy appearance. Combined with the glide-optimised surface treatment of the stanchion, you can expect smooth performance in all conditions.

A high level of durability is ensured by dust- and water-repellent seals, a low-maintenance, replaceable cartridge, and a scratch-resistant surface treatment on all tube elements.

The saddle clamp is compatible with round and oval (7x9 mm, 7x9.3 mm, 7x10 mm) saddle rails.

If your Drop-A-Gogo II ever needs a little maintenance, you can easily do it yourself with our matching service kits.
