The Forty series uses aluminium components, sealed cartridge bearings and a sealed steel crown race. In this integrated configuration, the bearings sit in the corresponding seats within the head tube. Its tall cover is the Tall version and should not be treated as equivalent to the lower Short version when planning installation. The upper and lower bearings suit different interface dimensions, so select the headset as a correctly matched assembly.
