Exped Schnozzel Pump Bag UL Sunshine

The Exped Schnozzel Pumpbag UL in Sunshine combines a pump bag with a storage sack. The yellow bag collects ambient air and transfers it through its connector into a compatible sleeping mat, avoiding the need to inflate the mat directly by mouth. Lightweight ripstop nylon and a compact packed size make it a useful addition to trekking and camping equipment.

This UL model uses coated 20D ripstop nylon containing recycled material. It can also serve as a waterproof compression sack for clothing or a sleeping bag. Sizes S, M and L are offered in the shop. Before buying, check the valve fitted to your mat. A separately available Universal Valve Adapter or FlatValve Adapter may be needed for a different interface; selecting a bag size does not establish valve compatibility.

Connect the bag carefully to the appropriate valve and keep both the fitting and fabric clear of sand and sharp objects. When using it for storage, close the roll top as instructed by the manufacturer. Let the bag dry completely before extended storage. A waterproof stuff sack does not automatically provide protection during prolonged immersion. Inspect the seams, coating and connector regularly for damage.
