Ticket to the Moon Moon Straps - 2021

Ticket to the Moon Moon Straps are webbing suspension straps for a compatible hammock. This offer, listed as the 2021 version, belongs to the older TMSTRAP design with two straps measuring 2.6 m long and 2 cm wide each. The material is polyester. Sewn loops allow adjustment of the hanging length without tying a fresh knot in a rope every time the hammock is set up.

The stated maximum load for this older version is 200 kg. Always follow the lowest approved limit of all parts used, including the hammock, connectors and attachment points. Specifications from later Moon Straps versions cannot be transferred simply because the product name is the same. Check the marking and instructions of the actual set before use. Flat webbing spreads contact differently from thin rope, but protection of sensitive bark still depends on loading and correct application.

Choose suitable, load-bearing attachment points and follow local rules concerning tree use. Inspect the webbing and stitching for cuts, abrasion or damage before every setup. Follow the hammock instructions and test the suspension close to the ground first. These straps are intended for hammock suspension, not climbing or fall protection. Dry damp straps before packing and store them away from heat, sharp edges and chemicals.
