Nordisk Madam Blå Plate

The Nordisk Madam Blå Plate is a reusable enamel-coated steel plate for camping, picnics and meals at home. Its round shape works for an individual meal or for serving small dishes to share. This listing offers a choice of blue or Cream.

The plate belongs to Nordisk’s Madam Blå range, with a design inspired by Danish enamel kitchenware. A smooth surface, contrasting rim and central Nordisk logo give it its appearance. At approximately 24 cm in diameter, it has room for a normal serving. Nordisk specifies a weight of 270 g for the 10421006 plate range.

Enamel combines a steel core with a coated surface. The plate is intended for repeated use: clean it after eating and use it again on your next outing. When packing, place a protective layer between the plate and other hard equipment. A hard impact can damage the enamel coating even when the steel underneath remains intact.

Nordisk lists the plate as dishwasher safe. Avoid abrasive cleaning pads and vinegar as a cleaning agent. Do not use it in a microwave. Let it dry after cleaning, and check for damaged areas or sharp edges before its next use.
