Thermarest Instant Field Repair Kit Adhesive

The Therm-a-Rest Instant Field Repair Kit is designed to repair small punctures in compatible sleeping pads while you are away from home. It is a useful addition to your sleeping equipment for camping and backpacking. Its self-adhesive components allow a repair without the lengthy curing time associated with a conventional liquid adhesive.

The kit contains adhesive dots, patches, alcohol cleaning wipes and instructions. The adhesive dots seal the puncture, while the patch covers and protects the repair. Surface preparation matters: locate the leak first, then clean the surrounding area as directed in the supplied instructions. Dirt left on the pad can prevent the adhesive from bonding properly.

Check fabric compatibility before buying. Therm-a-Rest excludes pads with knit fabric, including MondoKing, LuxuryMap and Trail Pro. This kit is therefore not a universal repair solution for every Therm-a-Rest pad. Check the recommended repair method if you own one of these models.

Keep the kit with your sleeping equipment so that it is accessible on a trip. Read the instructions before you need it and check the repaired area before relying on the pad again. A leaking valve requires a separate assessment of the repair appropriate for your particular sleeping pad.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge.
