Description
The POMOCA Zugpitz ready2climb is a 113 mm wide trim-to-fit skin for ski touring. Its mohair and synthetic blend balances glide, uphill grip and durability for repeated tours. A membrane and water-repellent finish help reduce moisture uptake and snow sticking to the textile surface. These skins are used for the ascent and removed from the skis before the descent.
A front bracket and a tension clip at the tail secure the skin to the ski. Before choosing a size, check that these attachments suit the shape of your ski tip and tail. The skin length must match the ski length, while its width is trimmed to the ski sidecut. The 113 mm width alone therefore does not confirm a complete fit for a particular ski. Correct trimming leaves the steel edges exposed so that they can still engage when traversing.
Keep the ski base as clean and dry as possible when attaching the skins, and protect the adhesive from dirt. After touring, let them dry in a ventilated place away from direct sunlight and radiators. Store them in their bag only when fully dry, and regularly check the adhesive, plush and attachment components.

Can be retrofitted with front straps and end hooks if needed. With its 113 mm width, the trim skin is suitable for most touring skis with a waist width of up to approximately 95 mm.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
