Adjustable ventilation for mountain days
The Sweet Protection Switcher Mips in Dirt Black is an all-mountain helmet for skiing and snowboarding. Its hybrid shell combines in-mold sections with hard-shell construction. The Mips system is designed to help reduce rotational motion in certain angled impacts. These features belong to the Switcher 840053 model.
Airflow and fit adjustment
Twenty-two adjustable vents let you adapt airflow to the temperature and your activity. The Occigrip dial system adjusts the fit around the back of the head. A magnetic chin buckle makes fastening easier when wearing gloves. The removable, washable liner can be cleaned after repeated days on snow. The helmet is ready for a compatible audio system; audio accessories are not automatically included.
Check the fit before skiing
Choose your size using your measured head circumference, then try the helmet on with your ski goggles. It should sit evenly without pressure points or movement when you turn your head. Adjust the straps and dial according to the manufacturer's instructions. Check the fit, buckle and shell condition before each outing. Follow the supplied manual for cleaning, inspection after an impact and any required replacement.
Shipping & advice
In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. The pickup note above and the checkout show where and when you can pick up. Skis with binding mounting take a little longer: we mount them carefully and let you know as soon as your set is on its way. Personal advice is available by appointment in our store in Ronsberg. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
