The grey VAN DEER-Red Bull Sports SPX 12 Rockerace GW is an alpine race binding for committed skiers. Its adjustment range runs from 3.5 to 12. Reference V23BN017 belongs to the 2023/24 collection and uses a B80 brake. Choosing a binding requires checking the ski plate, boot sole and individually determined release setting as well as the intended use.
Elastic travel and a semi-suspended heel form the core of the design. A smaller attachment area allows the ski to flex through the turn. This supports direct power transmission while accommodating movement and load changes. A higher release setting is not automatically better: the setting needs to suit the skier and must be checked with the actual equipment.
The manufacturer lists LOOK R21 and R22 race plates, approved ISO 5355 alpine boots and GripWalk boots as compatible systems. Ask a qualified ski workshop to check your particular ski, plate, binding and boot combination before mounting. The B80 brake must also suit the ski width.
Have mounting, adjustment and function testing carried out professionally. Clear snow and ice from the soles and bindings before stepping in. Let the equipment dry after skiing and arrange an inspection before the next season. Changes to boots or soles require another compatibility and setting check.

Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
