ZAG Ubac 95 Climbing Skins

The ZAG Ubac 95 climbing skins are intended for ascending with the touring ski of the same name. They combine 70% mohair and 30% nylon with a POMOCA adhesive layer. Mohair supports glide, while nylon contributes durability. This mixed-fibre construction is designed for regular ski touring.

The skins have a front attachment and a tensioner at the tail of the ski. Choose the version that matches the length and generation of your Ubac 95. Before first use, check that the shape and attachments fit your ski and leave the steel edges exposed. The number 95 alone is not a sufficient fit check across different ski generations.

Apply the skins to a clean, dry ski base and press the adhesive side down evenly. Keep it free from dirt, snow and textile fibres. Before heading out, inspect the glue, skin pile and attachments. A damaged or heavily contaminated adhesive layer should be serviced properly before your next ascent.

After use, let the skins and storage bag dry in a cool, well-ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators and other heat sources. Store the skins only when fully dry and follow POMOCA’s instructions for folding and care. This also helps keep the adhesive surface protected between tours.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days.
