Dynafit Blacklight+ Binding - magnet

The Dynafit Blacklight Carbon+ in Magnet is a pin binding for ski touring, designed with low weight and efficient ascents in mind. The version offered here has a 90 mm ski brake. Dynafit identifies this model as reference 49583. Carbon in the heel unit complements a compact construction for touring skiers who want a system for both climbing and descending.

Easy Entry and side guides assist entry into the toe unit. The locking mechanism can be operated with a pole, as can the Speed Step climbing aid. The heel unit provides 20 mm of length adjustment. The specified release adjustment range is Z 4 to 10. Dynamic length compensation accommodates movement as the ski flexes under load.

The brake width must suit the ski. Have a qualified technician check that your touring boots have compatible tech inserts and that the available adjustment range is sufficient. Mounting, adjustment and function checks require professional attention. Matching a numerical setting alone does not establish that a particular ski, boot and binding combination is suitable.

Clear snow and ice from the contact areas before stepping in. Learn the climbing lock, climbing aid and downhill position using the manufacturer’s instructions.
