Komperdell Big Art Junior Children's

The Komperdell Big Art Junior Vario is a two-section adjustable ski pole for the transition from children's poles to longer lengths. This K1642322 version in Doodle Multicolor adjusts from 100 to 125 cm. Within that range, the length can be adapted to the user's height and activity rather than requiring a different fixed-length pole for every change.

Both shaft sections use 7075 aluminium. The upper tube measures 18 mm in diameter and the lower tube 16 mm. The model features a Fatso Tape 375 grip and a removable Sidewinder Loop strap. The strap threads in and out over the grip head. Colourful tape forms part of the distinctive design and can be replaced following the manufacturer's instructions.

Set both poles to a suitable length and check that the locking mechanism holds securely before use. Always observe the maximum extension mark on the shaft. Adjustability does not replace choosing an appropriate size: the selected length needs to suit the child or teenager and the intended activity. Also check that the grips and straps work comfortably with the gloves being worn.

Komperdell recommends wiping telescopic poles with a dry cloth after each use and storing them with the locking mechanism open. Check the holding force and readjust the closure according to the manufacturer's instructions if needed. Do not apply lubricants to the shaft or locking system. Allow the poles to dry and check for visible damage before the next outing.
