Which pole length do I need?
Alpine, touring, classic and skating need different pole lengths. For adjustable poles, check the usable length range.

Check when trying out
- The grip should feel secure in your hand while wearing your gloves.
- For adjustable poles, your working length must stay within the approved range. Follow the manufacturer’s markings and locking instructions.
- Use the separate guidance for classic and skating. Do not apply the alpine elbow check to Nordic poles.
Measure your height and check pole length
- Measure your height without shoes from the floor to the top of your head.
- Compare it with the manufacturer’s guidance for your sport. Packed length is the collapsed length for transport.
- For alpine poles: place the pole vertically and check that your upper and lower arm form roughly a right angle. Use separate sport-specific guidance for Nordic poles.

Description
The Atomic AMT JR in pink is a ski pole for young skiers using prepared pistes. A lightweight aluminium shaft combines straightforward handling with a sturdy construction. This is a fixed-length model, so choose the appropriate size for the child's height and skiing stance rather than expecting to adjust the shaft.
Atomic uses its 3-star aluminium construction together with an ergonomic junior grip shaped for smaller hands. An adjustable Essential Strap supports the hold on the grip and can be fitted around a hand wearing a ski glove. The components are designed for practical handling during everyday piste skiing.
A standard 50 mm basket and steel tip complete the pole. The basket helps limit how far the pole sinks into prepared snow during a pole plant. Atomic quotes a weight of 150 g per pole for the 90 cm version. That reference weight should not be assumed to apply unchanged to every available length.
Check the length together with your child and ask the ski school for help if needed. Make sure the grip and strap can be handled comfortably with gloves on. Before use, inspect the shaft, basket and tip for damage and secure attachment. Remove snow and moisture after skiing and store the poles dry, following the manufacturer's usage instructions.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge. In Pfronten this also works for items that are only in stock in Ronsberg: we bring them over, which usually takes 2 to 4 days. Warranty & returns
Statutory warranty rights apply, plus the manufacturer's guarantee where one is granted. You can return unused items within 14 days of receipt; register the return in your customer account. We refund the purchase price of the items minus a 5 € return fee (6.90 € from abroad); you receive the return label from us. Skis mounted according to your details are excluded from exchange.
