Falke TK 2 - asphalt, melange

The FALKE TK2 in Asphalt Melange is a men’s hiking sock with medium cushioning and a wool-containing fibre blend. Reference 16474/3180 identifies this colour version. It is intended for hikes in lighter terrain where cushioning and good contact with hiking footwear are both useful. Its higher cuff offers more coverage than the short TK2 versions.

The fabric contains 40% polypropylene, 28% acrylic, 22% wool, 9% polyamide and 1% elastane. A three-layer construction supports moisture transport, while the anatomical shape takes the right and left foot into account. Shop size labels 39, 42, 44 and 46 correspond to EU ranges 39–41, 42–43, 44–45 and 46–48. These features do not establish a constant temperature or blister-free use regardless of footwear and activity.

Try the socks in the hiking shoes you intend to wear on your outing. Carefully align the heel and toe areas and avoid folds beneath the foot. Before a longer hike, check that cushioning and shoe volume leave enough room. Follow the label on the actual pack for care. Wash similar colours together and treat the wool content gently as instructed. Let the socks dry completely before packing them again or storing them in a cupboard.
