The Ortovox Classic Wool Mitten Leather in Black Sheep is a traditional mitten for cold winter days. Felted virgin wool is combined with leather on the palm, making it a practical option for winter walks, breaks during a tour and other activities in low temperatures. The mitten shape keeps the fingers together in one compartment, with a separate section for the thumb.

The main material is 100% virgin wool. Wool helps regulate the climate inside the glove and retains insulating properties when damp. A long wool cuff extends over the wrist and can be combined with your jacket sleeve. When trying it on, check that the overlap feels comfortable and does not leave an unwanted gap.

Palm inserts made from 100% goatskin leather protect the wool in areas exposed to greater wear. They support your grip on poles or other objects and improve abrasion resistance at these contact points. The result is a straightforward wool mitten with a more robust palm surface.

Choose a size that leaves some room for your fingers without letting them press against the end when you grip something. Air the mittens after use and let them dry completely before storage. Follow the product care instructions when cleaning, since both wool and leather need suitable treatment.
