Dynafit Mercury Dynastretch black

The Dynafit Mercury Dynastretch is a lightly insulated ski-touring glove with a practical two-in-one construction. An integrated storm overmitten can be pulled over the finger glove when needed, letting you adapt the outer hand covering while on a tour. The black version has a palm grip zone, an adjustable cuff and PrimaLoft insulation. It is designed for both women and men.

Version and details

• Mercury Dynastretch, model 70523.
• Finger glove with an integrated overmitten.
• Lightly insulated with PrimaLoft.
• Wind-resistant and water-repellent.
• Grip zone and adjustable cuff.

Selection and use

Try the glove with your intended pole strap and check finger length, grip feel and movement. The cuff should work with your jacket and close comfortably. Practise deploying and stowing the overmitten before a trip so that the extra layer is straightforward to handle outdoors. Water repellency is different from a waterproof construction; choose additional gloves and the rest of your equipment to suit the weather and route.

Care and inspection

Let damp gloves dry open at room temperature. Follow the care label for cleaning and avoid direct heat. Regularly inspect the palm, seams, cuff and overmitten for wear or damage, particularly before setting out on longer trips.
