Arc'teryx Bird Word 24K Black Unisex Cap

The Arc'teryx Bird Word Cap in 24K Black is a lightweight, adjustable cap for hiking, climbing days and everyday wear. Its six-panel construction and curved brim create a classic baseball shape. A gold-coloured bird and word logo contrasts with the black fabric. The model number is X000009463.

The main fabric is 100% polyester in a mechanically stretchy plain weave. It is lightweight and air-permeable, with an FC0 DWR water-repellent finish. A water-repellent surface does not make the cap waterproof rainwear. The SpacerMesh sweatband helps manage perspiration and is designed to dry quickly.

An adjustable buckle closure lets you fine-tune the fit. Choose between the offered S/M and L/XL sizes so that the cap sits comfortably without pressure. Arc'teryx lists a model weight of 53 g. Before heading out, check that your adjustment remains secure when you move and that the brim does not unnecessarily obstruct your view.

The manufacturer's care instructions specify a cool machine wash and line drying. Wash dark colours separately. Do not bleach, iron or dry-clean, and do not use fabric softener. Also follow the label supplied with your cap. Polyester may release plastic microfibres during washing, so wash only when needed and allow the cap to air between outings.
