SKS Velo 55 Cross 26-29'' Set Steckradschützer/Schutzblech

The SKS VELO 55 CROSS SET contains a front and a rear clip-on mudguard for bicycles with 26- to 29-inch wheels. These black mudguards are intended for tyre widths from 1.95 to 2.1 inches. On suitable bicycles, they help catch water and dirt thrown up by the tyres during everyday rides and tours on varied routes.

As well as wheel size, check the actual tyre width and the available space around the fork and frame. A fit check is particularly useful with wider treaded tyres. The universal fastening permits attachment to different frame tubes, but the specific mounting situation still needs to be checked.

Installation and care

Install both mudguards according to the manufacturer's instructions, leaving sufficient clearance around the tyres and moving parts. Additional U-stays are available separately and are not automatically part of the standard set. Check all fastenings after installation and regularly during use. Remove accumulated dirt and check the alignment again after transport or an impact to keep the wheels running freely.
