From long climbs to steep couloirs: ski touring in alpine terrain requires optimum weight and function. The answer: the SWITCHBACK 30 S / 32, a technically refined, lightweight backpack with alpine features for demanding ski touring. Pure performance for rock, ice, and snow.

Especially practical: quick access to equipment. Without removing the backpack, you can quickly and easily access the shoulder and hip pockets, side pocket for crampons, skins and ski crampons, plus the rope. You can also attach your skis with a carabiner parallel to the backpack while wearing it.

In the separate safety compartment, emergency gear and a lightweight ice axe are readily available in case of emergency, while the fully opening back provides access to all items in the main compartment. Additional volume is created via a large, separate compartment at the top of the SWITCHBACK 30 S / 32. Two ice axe holders, a daisy chain, rope fixing, and a helmet net complete the many attachment options.

When heavily loaded, the ergonomic FULL CONTACT LIGHT BACK SYSTEM distributes the load optimally on the back. When the backpack is less full, volume can be effectively reduced via the 3-point compression straps of the A-Skifix. Little weight, maximum function.

In-stock items usually ship from our warehouse within 1 to 3 working days. If the item is in stock in one of our stores, you can also pick it up there free of charge.
