Salewa Via Ferrata Ergo Tex

In this climbing paradise, Salewa developed the via ferrata sets – and tested them thoroughly.
The via ferrata Ergo Tex set is an extremely ergonomic, ultra-compact, and lightweight climbing set.
It features elastic load arms made from abrasion-resistant fabric and a swivel joint between the tie-in loop and load arms.
This ensures the Ergo Tex climbing set offers simple, user-friendly handling and high safety on tour.
The ergonomic Ergotec 3.0 carabiners fit well in the hand – and are easy to operate even with gloves.
Thanks to the extra-large opening, the carabiners can be quickly and safely clipped onto the wire rope without the risk of pinching your fingers between the rope and the gate.
Accidental opening is prevented by automatic carabiner locking. 
An absolutely valuable feature that makes the climbing set even more user-friendly is the swivel joint.
It effectively prevents arm twisting when putting it on and enables body-close handling.
We designed the swivel joint in a specially asymmetrical design, which makes it even easier to rotate and makes operation even more pleasant.
And if you need a short break, you can easily clip into the via ferrata using the integrated rest loop on the strap dampener.
The climbing set is attached to your harness via the new, patented, and elastic tie-in loop.
